All teachers at Gillepie Academy subscribe to the Westminster Standards, and it is from this perspective that the courses will be taught.
Rev. W. Brian Murray
Rev. Murray serves as Director and teaches Systematic Theology and Ethics. Rev. Murray received his B.R.E. Heritage College, Cambridge, ON. and his M.Div. from Haddington House, Charlottetown, PEI. He is currently completing the MTh. at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI. Rev. Murray was ordained in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in 2003. He is married and he and his wife Melissa have 4 children.
Rev. Jeffrey Kingswood
Rev. Kingswood teaches New Testament and Biblical Theology as well as the Logic and Oral Communication components of the course, “Research, Logic and Communication Skills.” Rev. Kingswood received his B.A. from the University of Guelph, and his M.Div. from Knox College, University of Toronto. He is an ordained minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and serves Grace ARP in Woodstock, ON. He was ordained in 1988. Rev. Kingswood has authored many articles, edited denominational periodicals, and is the author of From the Lips of Little Ones published by Crown and Covenant Publications. Rev. Kingswood is married and he and his wife Joan have 6 children, three of whom are married. They have been blessed with five grandchildren.
Rev. Benjamin Short
Rev. Short teaches History of Western Thought and Its Historical Implications. Dr. Short received his B.A. from McMaster University, and his M.Div. from Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, and his Ph.D. in History from the University of Guelph. His main studies were Reformation Scotland and England, and US history from the Revolution to the Civil War. He has served in the Presbyterian Church of Canada in Ontario and New Brunswick, and in the Reformed Presbyterian Church Evangelical Synod in Cape Breton, and in Los Angeles. He has ministered in the Orthodox Christian Reformed Church in Cambridge, Ontario. He retired in 2001.
Rev. Scott Wilkinson
Rev. Wilkinson teaches Old Testament and Biblical Theology, and Apologetics and Evangelism. Rev. Wilkinson received his B.A. from Arizona State University in 1992 and his M.Div. from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 1995. He served as pastor of Walton Reformed Presbyterian Church in New York from 1995-2001 and as pastor of New Creation Reformed Presbyterian Church in Kitchener from 2001 to the present. He has also engaged in public debates at Wilfred Laurier University and was host of the radio talk show, “The Measure of All Things”. He is married to Elineke and has six children.
Mrs. Jo Wright
Mrs. Wright teaches Effective Written Communication as a component of the course, “Research, Logic and Communication Skills”. Mrs. Wright received her R.N. from King’s College Hospital London, England in 1978, her B.A. in Theology and Psychology from Girton College, Cambridge University, England in 1982, her Post- Graduate R.N. in Psychiatry from The Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals, London, England in 1985, and her M.A .from Girton College, Cambridge University, England in 1985. She emigrated to Canada in 2002 and is a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Woodstock, Ontario. She is married to Clive Wright and has home-schooled her four children.
